Shooting in the Amazon

Filming in the Amazon!  January 2012:

After almost a month shooting in the Colombian Amazon 

slowly we get used to humidity and heat. We are preparing a trip to the Rio Putumayo very near to the Brazilian border to find a Ticuna indigenous village that supposed to be living in a very traditional way. But everything takes a long time here before you can even think of starting the adventure. 

There were some bbc shootings in the recent years here in the Javari that destroyed the confidence of the indigenous people into white people. I am not willing to bring all kind of "civilized goods" like dvd players, tv-sets, etc... into indigenous villages.

I do want to influence the life of the village as little as possible. Just try to get shots before all those cultures are lost... It´s not gonna be lasting long anymore...
